I wish that I could donate..but unfortunately I am also jobless at the moment. I recently went to Honduras and hosted a Zumba Fundraising event. Zumba is a fun latin inspired dance fitness program that is popular throughout the US. We charged $20 dollars a person for an hour and half class with some popular zumba instructors in our area and even though it was during Christmas parties weekend we managed to get around ~50 people so we raised $1000 dollars in that one hour and a half. I would look on the zumba website in your area and see if they maybe could put together a Zumba benefit for your friend. There are always gyms/schools that would donate free space for the event and grocery stores that could donate water. If you were in the CA area I would definitely find people to help but I guarantee you can find some people to help. I wish you good luck in fundraiser and do let me know how things go. God Bless you!.

FYI I went to Honduras to on a Medical Brigade to provide free medical care for a week with nurses and Honduran Doctors to some of the poorest villages in Honduras. It’s funny bc I went to offer free help when I too have no insurance. Haven’t had insurance for over a year and a half.
