Operation Layla is the lovechild of a wonderful group of girls banding together to help an awesome friend in need of surgery—we know Layla from real life, blogging, and twitter. She has impacted our lives by being a supportive friend who is there for us through good times and bad, so now we’re trying to be there for her.

I can’t stop crying after reading your story. I just want to let you know that you are in my meditations and I will be contributing financially on a biweekly basis. I can’t stand to read the part about the insurance companies and the work sites… it makes my stomach heave. I want to help you in every way I can.
